Karen Cangialosi, Ph.D. is a Spark module faculty member providing instruction on topics in Science. She also Chairs the Biology Department at Keene State College. Janaki Natarajan, Ed. D. is Director of the program. She has been teaching for over seventeen years. She also directs Bapagrama Educational Center, based in Bangalore, India. This school has a long tradition of social service and community organizing. Named after Thakkar Bapa, a co-worker of Mahatma Gandhi, who believed in equality of all people and who was against the caste system, the school became a place for children from poor families to learn and grow.Stephen Clark, Ph.D. is a Spark module faculty member providing instruction on various social justice issues. He is also an Associate Professor of Psychology at Keene State College and a member of the Campus Commission on Diversity and Multiculturalism. His current research is on homophobia and heterosexism. He is also the editor of the newsletter, "Teaching Diversity". Christopher Lievense, M.A., M.Ed. is a field adviser for the Spark Program. He has been teaching for over 8 years, working in schools in Vermont, Chicago, Japan and Bangalore India. Judith Reed, Ed.D. serves as organizational and academic consultant to Spark. She is Associate Professor of Education at Keene State College, where her work focuses on social justice education. Her past career includes 7 years in K-8 classroom teaching, 7 years in PK-8 school administration, and over 15 years in teacher education. Karen Saunders, M.Ed., M.S. is a literacy specialist for the Spark program. She holds an Masters of Science from the University of Massachusetts (Forest Ecology) and a Masters of Education from University of Massachusetts (Reading and Writing). Her specialty is Elementary pedagogy. She has more than 20 years of K-8 classroom teaching. Mikaela Simms, M.A. is a field adviser
for Spark. She has been an educator for ten years and is currently the diversity
coordinator for Windham Southeast School Union.
She has also worked in schools in East Palo Alto, California, and in Guinea,
